Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the conditions, procedures, and rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the service provider and users regarding the Saju (Four Pillars) analysis service provided by Seoul Saju (hereinafter "the Service").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • "Service": refers to the Saju (Four Pillars) analysis and related services provided through the Seoul Saju website (seoulsaju.com).
  • "User": refers to anyone who accesses and uses the Service in accordance with these Terms.
  • "Member": refers to a user who has registered an account through social login.
  • "Credits": refers to virtual currency used to access paid analysis features within the Service.

Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms)

  • These Terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise communicated to users.
  • The Service may modify these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable laws, with notice provided at least 7 days before the effective date.
  • Users who do not agree to the modified Terms may discontinue use and withdraw their membership.

Article 4 (Formation of Service Agreement)

  • The service agreement is formed when a user completes registration through social login (Google, Kakao) and the Service accepts the registration.
  • The Service may refuse registration or terminate the agreement in the following cases:
    • Using another person's information
    • Providing false information
    • Causing significant disruption to service operations

Article 5 (Provision and Modification of Services)

  • The Service provides features including Saju analysis, Manseryeok lookup, compatibility analysis, and personal insight readings.
  • The Service may modify or discontinue all or part of its services as operationally or technically necessary.
  • The Service operates 24/7 in principle, but may be temporarily suspended for system maintenance, equipment replacement, or other unavoidable reasons.

Article 6 (Credits and Payment)

  • Credits are deducted when using paid analysis services. Credits can be purchased within the Service.
  • Payments are processed through PortOne (domestic) and Creem.io (international). Creem.io acts as Merchant of Record for international transactions, handling payment collection and tax compliance.
  • Purchased credits can only be used within the Service and cannot be refunded as cash.
  • Credit costs for each analysis type can be found on the Service's information page.
  • Credits are a digital product and are available for use immediately after purchase.

Article 7 (Withdrawal and Refund)

  • Users may request withdrawal within 7 days of purchasing credits.
  • However, credits already used are non-refundable. Only remaining credits are eligible for refund.
  • If analysis results are not properly delivered due to technical errors, the credits will be automatically restored.
  • Refund requests can be submitted by email to hello@seoulsaju.com.

Article 8 (Limitations of AI Analysis)

  • The Saju analysis results provided by the Service are AI interpretations based on traditional Chinese metaphysics and are for reference only.
  • Analysis results do not replace professional advice in areas such as medicine, law, or finance. Users are responsible for their own important decisions.
  • The Service does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated analysis results.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)

  • Copyright and intellectual property rights for content provided by the Service (design, text, images, software, etc.) belong to the Service.
  • Users may not reproduce, transmit, distribute, crawl, scrape, or commercially use the Service's content without prior consent.
  • Personal analysis results generated through the Service may be used by the user for non-commercial purposes.

Article 10 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in the following activities:

  • Stealing another person's information
  • Disrupting normal service operations
  • Using the Service in violation of laws or public morals
  • Mass requests or crawling through automated means
  • Circumventing or compromising the Service's security systems

Article 11 (Service Restriction)

The Service may restrict use or terminate the agreement without prior notice if a user violates the obligations in Article 10.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

  • The Service is exempt from liability when unable to provide service due to force majeure such as natural disasters, war, or hacking.
  • The Service is not liable for service disruptions caused by the user's own fault.
  • The Service does not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of information provided and is not liable for user decisions and actions based on such information.

Article 13 (Withdrawal and Membership Termination)

  • Members may request withdrawal at any time through the in-app settings or by emailing hello@seoulsaju.com.
  • Upon withdrawal, all member data (profiles, analysis history, remaining credits) will be immediately deleted and cannot be recovered.

Article 14 (Dispute Resolution)

  • Disputes between the Service and users shall be resolved through mutual consultation in principle.
  • If consultation fails, disputes shall be resolved under Korean law in the competent courts.

Article 15 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
